GUNNY BUTT..............

today we had a semi "iep" meeting.. gunny wants to mainstream...which is good.. he is realizing he is in ese (slow) classes...and i want this done...besides ..taken that one step to do a regular class..gunny wants to try... well the school will do this the first 9 wks of school in aug...they are going to have co/ese teachers along with regular teachers for the 6th.7th.8th classes....for the ese kids.. that i can work that program...so they can get kids ready for high school...he is main stream for chours..and he can take computer classes next yr also which is main stream...his reading his semi regular class thou he is only getting the ese equivalent grade..and work at there pace in reading...im changing on of his meds..(behavioral) in june...and have this new drug in his system by aug 09....and get him tested for pdd autism which i dont think he has...and two other people a dr and a thrapist dont think he does either..so i need to take care of that over the summer...i did tell the school to give me the fcat scores and last iep and a psychological test they did on gunny in elem. school.... to give that info when getting tested for autism...gunny is a typical kid w/ adhd w/ attitude teenager....and he does shut down when things dont go his way...so im going to push him to breathe when upset...walk away...go to someone if u feel u are going to lose it...(like bulling or name calling ..basic bs the teenagers do to each other in middle school)and give him the courage to do better in social situations.. letting things side.. start acting like a young man..not a baby...hes done good this yr w/out getting into any fights..(2 last yr in 6th grade)....plus i did give him a big time spanking from mama here...a couple wks back just to show him... stop...and hes doing good since that spanking...he hardy ever gets spank... for some reason this is my only child... that hasnt put me thru any bs like the older two.....so i will keep updates with gunny here...i see a little man..trying... love u p-dogg....
